Who We Are
our story is one rooted in passion, dedication, and an evolving dream. In the early years, Warren and Assiana Nkoume moved to the United States, driven by the desire to create a business focused on supporting families. As they settled into Maryland , they made Nebraska their new home, the idea of providing in-home care services began to take shape.
Their decision was deeply influenced by their strong love for family, a value that is central to their personal beliefs. Warren and Assiana are caregivers with 10 years of experience helping seniors and people with disabilities. They reflected on what truly matters to them, what excites them, and brings them joy. These heartfelt questions laid the groundwork for their vision of offering trustworthy and compassionate care, leading to the birth of Ava Home Care & Community Services.
By 2024 Assiana decided to go to a nursing school to expand the vison of the company that will mark a significant milestone in our journey and fulfilling a broader purpose for Ava Home Care & Community Services. We reached another important achievement by adding a non medical transportation, opening the door to growth beyond our initial expectations.
